JOHANNESBURG – Both Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe’s famous ‘blue house’ and the Zimbabwean Broadcasting Corporation (ZBC) has been sealed off by heavily armed military personnel, Khuluma Afrika is reporting.Tanks were spotted heading to the capital Harare just a day after army chief Constantino Chiwenga, in an unprecedented move, openly threatened to ‘step in’ to end a purge of supporters of ousted vice-president Emmerson Mnangagwa.

Controversial Mugabe has historically tightened personal security, especially over simple things like social media dissent or strikes by workers.
eNCA’s Zimbabwean correspondent Pindai Dube confirmed the tanks were visible in the streets of Harare, with sources indicating it was a ‘show of force’ rather than a coup.
South African Airways spokesperson Tlali Tlali said flights between Zimbabwe and South Africa are continuing as usual.
“Our flights between the two countries are operating as per published schedules. Should there be a change in scheduling, a public and customer notification will be issued,” he added.
Sacked vice-president Mnangagwa, 75, a long-serving veteran of Zimbabwe’s 1970s liberation wars, had been viewed as a likely successor to Mugabe before the president fired him on 6 November.
His downfall appeared to pave the way for Mugabe’s wife, Grace, to succeed the 93-year-old president.
Robert Mugabe is the only leader Zimbabwe has known in 37 years of independence.

At long last some have seen through the despot who has eliminated all those who challenged him, destroyed the ” bread basket of Africa, and has diminished the gloy of Zimbabwe.

what you sow you will reap. Firmly believe you pay the price for your actions, may it be the here and now or in the life hereafter .
Just deserves if they are trying to overthrow the government, it was long overdue.
Mugabe God does not sleep , if I was you I would repent from your ways now because if I was in your shoes I would not want to die because hell has no return ticket .
Repent or pay the ultimate price your soul salvation may be lost.
Iam watching the updates and praying that they over rule Mugabe for the better of the country and its people.
About time…

Finally someone has the guts to stand up to this thieving, murderous dictator & his whore. Peace & love to all Zimbabweans, let’s hope for a brighter future for Zimbabwe, especially for our youth. No one deserves to grow up in these conditions.

Coup plots are often funded by foreign intelligence agencies. Coup leaders have always proven to be less intelligent than the leaders they oust. It happened in Ghana when Nkrumah was overthrown. Zimbabwe! The coup leaders won’t do better than Robert Mugabe. Whatever problem you have would become worse. Sometimes in trying to solve a problem one only makes the problem. Return Mugabe to power and let him lead the country in shaping a better future.
The Mask, What are you trying to tell us?…were you alive from 1980 to 2017?
You say that Mugabe should be returned “to power and let him lead the country in shaping a better future”.
I presume you are joking as Mugabe had the last 37 years to shape the country for a better future.
And by any measurement he has been a complete and utter failure in this task in the these many long years, of taking us anywhere near to a better future.
But I guess that you were joking, or you were indulging in that weed that makes most people see the world through rose coloured spectacles?…
Thank God that he is out…but that does not mean that Zimbabwe is not out o the fire. Who ever succeed him would do the same.
I love my country, let’s have faith, thanks god???
