Farirai Madhumbe | Former Cabinet Minister Walter Chidhakwa has been arrested and is being held at Rhodesville Police Station. Chidhakwa’s arrest comes after the state media over the weekend fired warning shots that he together with former Tourism minister, Walter Mzembi, would be arrested for corruption and abuse of office.
The state media reported Sunday, quoting the Zimbabwe Anti Corruption Commission (ZACC) that there was reasonable suspicion the two pampered themselves with money illegally acquired during their stints in Government. Anti-graft agents are also onto former Secretary for Higher and Tertiary Education, Science and Technology Development Professor
