We will miss her sadly.
I met her once, as a hotel manager, and thought she was a decent person. She was also instrumental in freeing a civvie SA pilot who had been imprisoned by paranoid ZANU military while flying in the Eastern Highlands, just after Independence.
What a shame the rest of ZANU couldn’t follow her lead and try to become decent people.
What a shame, one of the original politicians who did her bit. I wonder if she is happy to be buried at Heros’ Acre ???
I know she was a good person. But am sure she was disappointed as to How things turned out.
She benefited and Rode the gravy train.
Integrity has no borders. She decided to forgo this and stayed with a failed bunch of thugs. Courage says to move when your consciousness tells you loud and clear. She had not advanced spiritually or intellectually to do so. Let’s speak the truth
SHE WAS AN EPITOME OF FORTITUDE ,RESILIENCE AND HUMILITY
Rest in peace. A fine lady, and a politician who rose above politics.
What a fine and humble lady she was. We shall miss you Mama Chitepo may your soul rest in peace.
