HARARE – Former Hurungwe West legislator Temba Mliswa has said he is writing to the International Criminal Court (ICC) to have Zanu PF bigwigs Ignatius Chombo and Philip Chiyangwa tried for crimes against humanity.
Addressing a news conference yesterday in Harare, Mliswa said because of the violence that Chombo and Chiyangwa were allegedly unleashing in the constituency, they should be dragged before the international courts.
“They might escape the courts of Zimbabwe but they will not escape the courts of the world,” Mliswa said.
“They will not escape the courts that God presides over.
“This is why the ICC is there. These are crimes which must go before the ICC and we shall be writing to the ICC on the acts that Chombo and Chiyangwa perpetrated.
“If at all there are any Zimbabweans who will be first to appear before the ICC, it will be those two.
“There should be full investigations done by the international community in this behaviour which is archaic, barbaric and shameful.”
Mliswa said that while on the campaign trail in Hurungwe, he advocated for peace and unity and accused outsiders of terrorising his constituency.
He said that the more people Zanu PF was terrorising, the more enemies they were creating for themselves.
“It is clear that wherever Chombo goes, there is violence, whether I am there or not,” Mliswa said.
“You can now tell who is at the forefront of the violence you are seeing and it is a self-destructive approach.”
While Chombo was unreachable for comment, Chiyangwa said Zanu PF cannot go on to alert Mliswa every time they are in Hurungwe West. “Is he now the police?” Chiyangwa charged.
“Were we addressing (our rally) in his yard or house? Does he have people? Does he own anyone in Hurungwe West? Zanu PF has fielded a candidate in Hurungwe West and we are not answerable to Temba. Who is he?”
He added that Mliswa must stop “muttering” nonsense, saying his rants were politically vile.
Chiyangwa further accused Mliswa of running a militia that was in fact terrorising the constituency.

Every single member of ZPF must go before an international court to be tried
It would be the people of Zimbabwe to justly complain to the ICC as a collective group. The human rights groups in Zim must act now to stop this abuse.
He who lives in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones. There are people who have photos of the bruising and harm that Mliswa has personally inflicted. Reckon his name is already in The Hague along with countless others. Proof is all that is needed.

Now its crime against humanity. Let me give you a short lecture Mr. Muliswa, “while you were busking and wining and dinning in Zanu PF, these crimes against humanity were actually happening but you didn’t know because you were busy enjoying. Now that its happening to you, you begin to see it”
Welcome to the other side and take a good sip of your own medicine.
Temba don’t cry foul today. If you live by the sword you die by the sword. You lived by the sword when you were enjoying the soup on the high table of the corrupt system. You actually have shares and rewards of a corrupt system. Please include your name also to the list you want to forward to the international criminal court. lts not only Chombo and Chiyangwa actually the two you mentioned will never be found on top of the list. Your principals should top the list and please don’t forget Jabulani Sibanda on your paper. l feel sorry for you now that you realize the brutality of the system. Why did it take so long. At least now you realize you where in the wrong boat. God will forgive you Temba but for others the heat is turning on them now. Ask Grace she is already in hell.

Temba Mliswa is the last person whom any peace-loving citizen will tolerate, let alone forgive. He even continues to go around with a marauding mob, including the likes Jimmy Kunaka a well known thug/murderer, and he yet still believe in his ability to wood-wink the people. Never!! Once a thug always a thug; & Temba is very much still a thug.
Yes, Chombo & Chiyangwa are not innocent of the alleged crimes. But, so is Temba; and he also must take himself to the ‘famous’ ICC.
