A number of French business delegations are expected to visit the country following Minister of Finance and Economic Development Patrick Chinamasa’s recent visit to Paris to negotiate funding support to Zimbabwe This was said by French Ambassador to Zimbabwe Laurent Delahouse yesterday.“We are just back from Paris where I went with Minister Chinamasa. We met with the French Finance Minister and this was a first high level bilateral visit by Zimbabwe’s Finance Minister to the EU in the last 30 years. Minister Chinamasa met with French business associations and 20 companies represented by different people and some are currently in Zimbabwe and some are expected in the country to look for areas of investment,” he said.

He added that Zimbabweans have got all the resources and the energy and the creativity to come up with solutions to build their country.

“I am happy to announce that our political relations have improved and French firms are keen to invest in the agriculture sector which has the capacity to transform the economy of Zimbabwe.”

He was speaking on the sidelines of a workshop organised by Seed-Co Zimbabwe where a French agricultural and food rating agency Momagri was presenting the practical use of agricultural models, indications and notations to implement strategic and sovereign decisions and its potential application for Zimbabwe. — BH24.

I don’t think anyone will be visiting. Not after Fatprick Chinaman’s failed begging attempt.
