via Mujuru says “makorokoto” to Mugabe and “may God continue to bless him” – Nehanda Radio March 1, 2015 by Brown Moyo
HARARE – Ousted former vice president Joice Mujuru has said “makorokoto” (congratulations) to president Robert Mugabe for turning 91 years.
This comes after Mugabe openly attacked Mujuru in his speech in Victoria Falls while addressing thousands of party supporters who thronged the resort town to come celebrate the veteran leader’s birthday.
Mugabe, in his birthday interview dubbed “reflections at 91″ said Mujuru was naked in the presence of Nigerians where she sought medicine to bewitch him.
“Recently, she invited two Nigerian sangomas. We heard that they were specialists in the field of witchcraft. They were specialists, yes, but specialists in robbing people, foolish people,” Mugabe claimed in his speech delivered in Victoria Falls.
Mugabe said the rituals were weird as they were conducted while Mujuru was semi-nude.
“Izvozvo zvange zvichiitwa ivo vanzi bisai hembe. Bisai hembe; mazamu pachena, ugonzi unosara uku chete. Zvatinoitiswa vakomana! Mai vatakaenda navo kuChimurenga?”
The President said another round of rituals aimed at engineering his and the First Lady’s death took place at Mujuru’s farm in Beatrice.
“Uko ndiko kwakanourayiwa shanu (hwai). Hameno kuti Mugabe wafa kare apa pashanu apa wange achazomuka ave hwai futi? Asi akanzi akamuka kubva apfupfurirwazve ipapa. Imwe yangu, imwe yemudzimai. Apa handina kunzwa kuti VaMnangagwa kuti vakadii.
I said to myself: ‘Where do these Nigerians get the powers to entrap the soul of a human being into a chicken or sheep and then kill him? God is for us all. I also go to church; I do not believe in superstition. Takafundiswa dzidzo yekwaMwari,” Mugabe added.
However in an exclusive interview with Nehanda Radio, Mujuru evaded the allegations and said she wished Mugabe a happy birthday.
Nehanda Radio: What is your response to witchcraft allegations levelled against you by President Mugabe in his birthday interview?
Mujuru: ah I just say makorokoto to him for turning 91 years. May God continue to bless him.
During the run up to the December Zanu PF congress and upon her entry into the mainstream politics, Mugabe’s wife, Grace launched a spirited attack on Mujuru whom she accused of being an inept leader who concentrated on amassing wealth through illicit deals with various companies as well as planning to overthrow Mugabe’ s government.
Mujuru was accused of demanding 10% protection fees from foreign owned companies and running a faction which planned to take over from Mugabe who does not want to hand over power to a new leadership.

Is this really a speech by a president of a nation ? What would citizens learn from such a speech? A learned man has sunk so low that even in a public speech, he must quarrel with a woman! Lord have mercy!!
