What a waste of money. But, secretly, I think Manangagwa is organising all these trips in the hopes that grandpa pegs off due to too much standing up, sooner rather than later. After all, what other use are these overseas trips for? Nothing ever comes of them. How can Malaysia get Zimbabwe back on its feet – of course it can’t nor will it be willing to do so. Grandpa & Co live in cloud-cuckoo land (surrounded by headless chickens).

Why not a suitcase of cash? Mugabe must pay his medical accounts in Singapore where he will stay over for his treatment. The story about a :working visit” can at best e regarded as a joke – nothing of advantage to the peoplr of Zimbabwe will be forthcoming.

Is the man ever at home in Harare? The past month he was in Swaziland, Maputo, South Africa, the UDA and Dubhai if I am not wrong, Now off to Malaisia again. Six trips representing $30 million in loot for only one month. Wha a farce.

Inside the country, Mugabe is now president of nothing, because there is nothing left of Zimbabwe. To make himself look and feel important, he has to go to other countries and pretend he controls this “nothing”, called Zimbabwe.

Yes, it is time past for Mugabe to go, and in his demise many will take pleasure. However, that will not end the misery if the dark mantle is only passed to another in ZANU-PF. The culture of corruption and abuse will continue. It is inherent in the ZANU-PF mentality. While Mugabe’s collection of those “suitcases of cash” will end and he will burn in hell with the likes of Pol Pot, Idi Amin, Stalin, Hitler, etc., someone else will begin amassing more of their own wealth and power. These things will continue as long as ZANU-PF has any control… and ZANU-PF will remain in control as long as those of the JOC can enrich themselves by it. Only when the rank and file rises up will democracy and freedom be released from the ZANU-PF prison.
