HIGHER Education minister Jonathan Moyo’s daughter, Zanele, has died in South Africa.
Moyo was reportedly informed about the tragic passing of his daughter in the middle of an address at the National University of Science and Technology (NUST) in Bulawayo.
The minister confirmed the development on Twitter, simply saying, “God’s people my angel daughter Zanele is no more”.
Zanele, aged 20, was found dead in her room Saturday morning, according to sources.
The fourth-born of Moyo’s five daughters, Zanele was studying international relations at the University of Cape Town.
The cause of death remains unclear with hospital tests said to be underway.
