via RadioVop Zimbabwe – Kereke Eternally Enmeshed In Debt Woes 1 September 2014
A leading Zimbabwean fertiliser and chemical manufacturer, Windmill has heaped more misery to Munyaradzi Kereke, the former adviser to Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe governor Gideon Gono after securing a writ of execution to attach his farming equipment and property over some outstanding debt.
Windmill, a manufacturer and supplier of agricultural products accuses Kereke, the owner of Pamene Farm in President Robert Mugabe’s Mashonaland West province of failing to pay for some agro-chemicals supplied to his farm some few years ago.
According to court papers, Kereke purchased some agro-chemicals for use at his farm which he has but he has failed and/or neglected to pay despite demand from Windmill. According to a copy of the writ of execution, Windmill has been empowered to recover property worth $55 000 which is equivalent to the debt that he owes the agricultural company.
Kereke, who was elbowed out of the central bank in 2012 after a serious spat with Gono is battling several legal woes and has also been dragged to court by the state-run National Social Security Authority (NSSA) which demanded payment of $17 137 from him. NSSA claimed that Kereke has not been remitting workers’ pension contributions at his Pamene farm in contravention of the NSSA Act, which compels all employers in the country to deduct from the salaries or wages of their employees and remit to NSSA the workers and the employers’ share of pension contributions.
The former RBZ advisor was also embroiled in a legal fight with a subsidiary of the state run, Zimbabwe Electricity Supply Authority (ZESA) which is demanding payment of electricity allegedly consumed at his farm.
Kereke has also been sued by Gono in several legal disputes in the High Court.
However, Kereke disputes the ZESA lawsuit and has also hauled Gono to court over several issues.

Funny how these people go to the courts!!! The same courts they destroyed , they should issue them with a machete each and fight to the death as that is the kind of justice they seek to impose on others.
To begin with you can’t ” own ” something ( farm) you stole !!??? Furthermore it is incredible that a failed businessman with no financial kudos could ever be a top adviser on the economics of a bankrupt cuntry
