FORMER Zanu PF information secretary Rugare Gumbo says he is working on his life memoirs following his five-year suspension from the party.
Gumbo, who was suspended from Zanu PF on accusations that he was plotting to oust President Robert Mugabe and replace him with Vice-President Joice Mujuru, said the book would detail his life.
“I am definitely working on something, that way I will be detailing my life history from the day I was born to today,” he said.
If written, the book could provide a deep insight into the manner Zanu and Zanla fought the liberation war, as Gumbo was one of the members of the famed Dare reChimurenga or War Council.
The former Zanu PF spokesman is also likely to touch on his strained relationship with Mugabe, considering they had run ins-in the past that saw Gumbo being detained for years before independence.
