Zanu PF Congress Update: Mujuru a ‘thief’, says Mugabe

via Zanu PF Congress Update: Mujuru a ‘thief’, says Mugabe 4 December 2014

Day 3 of the Zanu PF 6th National People’s Congress.

President Robert Mugabe has labelled under-fire Vice President Joice Mujuru a thief who stole ‘diamonds and gold’.
Addressing the congress, Mugabe also accused Mujuru of plotting to kill him in a bid to take over the presidency.
“Wanting a post should not lead someone into plotting to kill,” he said, adding that Mujuru had absented herself from the congress in the typical fashion of a thief.

Also absent from the congress include top Mujuru allies Nicholas Goche and Didymus Mutasa.

Turning to the election of Mujuru as the party’s vice president in 2004, Mugabe said: “I do not want to blame the Women(‘s league) for giving us the VP, you thought you were giving us a good person.”

“We do not choose you to be thieves but to end it (theft) in your areas. You should never send a thief to catch a thief. If we are sent to catch thieves and we become thieves, who will catch the thieves”

Mugabe praises wife Grace for ‘outing the corrupt’ elements in Zanu PF and gives a hint on a possible dismissal of officials linked to Mujuru.

“Amai Mugabe vakazofumura mhosva dzose dzaizadza mabhuku. If they are proved (guilty) they will be prosecuted…and if you were a minister, deputy minister or civil servant, basa rinobva rapera (you will be fired)….People will lose their jobs, ministers, civil servants will lose their jobs and even face the wrath (of the law) but we need evidence”

President Mugabe needs to ask for forgiveness from The Lord God Jesus Christ Our Father and should give all or most his wealth to the poor. He will be forgiven. We also pray for him so he can be forgiven before The Lord, The Great God, Jesus Christ comes. As for Amai Mugabe keep on doing the good work loving the orphans, the poor, the widows, the elderly and the needy. Mai the next time you go to Apostolic Church like Johane Marange ask to be Baptised again, they will baptise you and you will be Blessed forever. You are the President in waiting Amai. God Bless you and all Zimbabwe. President Mugabe made mistakes but God can still forgive him if he repents. He let down the poor…AMEN. Messenger Of God

I think the biggest thief is Mugabe himself and not the humble lady Joyce Mujuru

So the “president” and his wife are saying the “vice president” is a thief but they needed the evidence?

He who lives in glass house shouldn’t throw stones! What comes round goes round. So, who is going to be the first to spill the beans? Pull up a chair, make the popcorn and enjoy the show.

The proverbial pot calling the kettle black. It amazes me the foolish man has the gall to acuse and judge another thief when he has done far worse.

Mr. President can you account for all the assets you have locally and abroad and declare your wealth in the foreign banks. You accuse your subordinates yet they have learnt from the master, Mugabe. Mnangagwa owns most of the gold in the Midlands province, a big percentage of the claims and small mines are being worked by his hired makorokoza.
The day your life ends all your wealth will be known and everything you did not declare as an honest law-abiding first citizen will be returned to the state. If anything come clean at this farce congress of yours.

I think future generations should remove the word Tsotsi from the Shona vocabulary and replace it with the word ZANU lest we never forget!!!!

you know Zimbabweans,we are smiling at whats happening in the parliament, mugabe is firing all he thinks are corrupt…mugabe,he himself,if he was a good leader,he should have stepped down long ago. he is greedy himself. let zimbabweans choose the destiny for their country. i dont hate mugabe, but i m being realistic with life…look at his age,and he is not even ashamed to call himself a president…he is the most cruel man i have ever seen on this planet. okae, how can we have a leader who can’t even trust his own heath institutions. if he gets ill he goes to malaysia or singapore for treatment, how about those of us who dont go there. he sents his kids to study abroad, how about the education of his country.. how can we be led by leaders who are not willing to give services to the people, the services which they themselves cant swallow… i dont mind who is being considered wrong in this party, but mugabe is the worst person of the party if cant see it.
