Bona Mugabe graduates with Masters Degree

via Bulawayo24 NEWS | Bona Mugabe graduates with Masters Degree by Staff reporter 16 November 2013

President Robert Mugabe says more Zimbabwean students will be facilitated to attend courses at the Management Institute of Singapore.

Speaking after witnessing the graduation of his daughter Bona Nyepudzai Mugabe who obtained a Masters Degree in Banking and Finance from the institute, Mugabe said education is the most important element in the development thrust of any country.

Bona graduated as the only Zimbabwean and African student among the 150 graduands.

The graduation was attended by Robert Mugabe, Grace Mugabe and other senior government officials.

Bona also gave a rare interview to journalists saying she intends to use her experience in Singapore back home where she is already working at Alpha-Omega Dairy.

The President told journalists that as parents they are proud of their daughter’s achievement, describing Bona as reserved, disciplined and studious, saying the government will use Bona’s example to send more students to the Singapore institute.

Hypocrisy of the highest order. The destructive demon sends his daughter to a faraway land to university and he himself is seeks medical ttestment there while his ‘liberated’,’indigenised’ people wallow in poverty, attend schools with no teachers or materials and die at 37…………….make no mistake the devil and his demons ‘liberated’ zimbabwe.
The only positive thing is that mugabe and his fellow demons are only a VERY short period of time from hell!

Well said Charlie. The Chancellor of sate universities deeply abhors them. Now the proud African head of this impoverished nation wants to send more zim students – needless to say children of fellow zanu p.f. thieves to study there.

We are told senior government officials graced the occasion. So, not only are we paying for Bona to study at expensive foreign institutions, we also have to pay for a huge delegation to clap and cheer when she gets capped. This soon to be nonagenarean is always showing us the middle finger.

And then of course, all the usual praise singers will try outdo each other with nauseatingly fawning congratulatory messages that will flood state newspapers paid for by the overburdened tax payer.

I wonder if Bob will move the Printing Press to his stolen farm Mazowe and ask Bona to keep and eye on it – to print some money and then get the CFU and Scoones to write papers on the hard won successes of the Land Reform Programme, the Election and the Constitution? Pamberi with the Mbada Diamonds, the Zanu Printing Press, Scoones and the CFU! They will all be living legends overnight with the flick of the switch on the Printing Press at Foyle Farm, Mazowe.

We were desperate, we asked a devil to lead us free ourselves from another devil, later the devil says, “ngoma ndiyoyo”. We are between a deep sea and a cliff.

Bona was the only African student at the college. Was this deliberately set to protect her virginity or conceal her academic inability? Lets have her assisted thesis published, her lecture Bookeeping students at Kaguvi college or her assisting ‘O’ level accounts re-writes. The girl will prove us right somehow.

Our great grand kids attend barn schools. Our plight is that Mugabe doesn’t have any at his age. How many of his lieutenants have had to attend graduation ceremonies for their first born children before him? Memories he would not live long to cherish.

If at all snakes could kiss, how can one if its approach is for a kiss or bite. Having an educated youth is a great investment for a country and its future. She may turn out to be different as the adage goes “umfundisi akazizali”

The only African student graduation there? The reason being, it’s either too expensive or too useless! This is possibly some private community college affiliated to the University of Wales. Mr Prezee, this anything but Zimbabwean education mindset needs to stop. We need to start stopping it from the Top. Please set the tone. Education properly resources is a huge potential source of the forex we need to revive our industries so that we can indeginize, empower and employ.

Good thinking Mr Chancellor , first secretary of ZANU PF, Commander in chief of the defence forces, instead of wasting land building universities or improving the ones already built its better to outsource university education.Bona Mugabe is a living a example of success of this and she also broke a record in the process by being only black and African to graduate. She is also going to show the success of indigenisation and success of land reform by using her qualification in the family dairy farm his father got after applying and waited for a long time for his chance to be allocated this farm.It is exemplary because the President got the smallest piece of land and he was allocated the land after all the Zimbabweans who were in need of land got theirs.ZIMBABWE A THRIVING DEMOCRACY.

Why did Mugabe send his daughter abroad. He can not even trust the local education that he preside over. may be she could not qualify on points sinc the standards are higher. With you masters can not your father listen to your advice that democracy is not about ruling for ever.

How can the chancellor of all state universities sends his iwn children to foreign universities. It shows that he does not have confidence in the institutions that he controls. With the way the President/Chancellor preaches indeginisation and soverenity he should be the first person to send his kids to local schools and universities. So its the poorman,s son who should learn at local universities
