Cuthbert Dube, the ex-Premier Service Medical Aid Society (Psmas) chief executive, has sought to gag the media from reporting on his unceremonious exit, citing a variety of reasons and procedural flaws.
In a surprise warning late yesterday afternoon, the Zimbabwe Football Association president’s lawyers Venturas and Samkange suggested that the media risked multi-million dollar lawsuits if it kept writing on its client’s Psmas reign, salary and related matters.
“Our client has instructed us to act on numerous articles carried and published in your newspaper. These articles are defamatory, slanderous and false,” they said, adding the articles were penned “without due regard to the truth and accuracy of the information available to you”.
This comes as the Psmas saga has also sucked in presidential spokesman George Charamba.

Dube has found another way of making easy money…sue the press. Hollow threats…if you win the lawsuit please donate the whole sum to the people you have impoverished….if you have a shred of decency that is.

What a disgrace these lawyers are. Any decent Zimbabwean should have declined to represent this foul person. I suggest right-minded Zimbabweans boycott this firm who obviously think more of getting their share of the loot via their fees than justice!!!!
He has the bucks!
And certainly he wont sue them for $23000.00, thus peanuts, he will sue them for $230 million if they are not careful.
