ZIMBABWE National Liberation War Veterans’ Association national chairman Jabulani Sibanda yesterday said factionalism and corruption within Zanu-PF is undermining the revolutionary party’s ideology and values that the people fought for during the liberation struggle.
Speaking at a war veterans association meeting held in Entumbane, Sibanda said factionalism and corruption within the party should be dealt with decisively.Sibanda said there were individuals within the party who were after reversing the gains of independence.”The revolutionary party is under siege from its own people. As war veterans we are not going to let this rot of factionalism and corruption destroy our party.
This should be stopped and we demand stern measures to be taken now against individuals found to be working against the party,” said Sibanda.He said factionalism was now a threat to the nation’s revolution as Western imperialists had shifted their sponsorship from opposition parties to promoting factionalism within Zanu-PF.”As war veterans let’s be on guard and we are saying no to factionalism and corruption. If factionalism continues unabated, we are giving the imperialists an opportunity to destroy us from within,” he said.
The war veterans’ leader said Zanu-PF leaders should direct their energies at mobilising people to participate in the development of the country instead of fighting each other.Sibanda singled out nepotism as one of the vices fuelling corruption in the country.

This is the last man to be able to talk about corruption. He is just as corrupt as anyone in Zanu. I wonder what imperialists he is talking about. What gains of Independence? The country has lost more much more than it gained including the dignity of a once proud people which has been ripped to shreds.
Sibanda was not even in the war this man is another zaunpf con man just stealing from the nation. He never has seen the front end of a real AK not its butt. We add you to the list of zanupf we will prosecute when we change the govt.

Unknown is that this corruption in in ZPF is so much entrenched and institutionalised that if you investigate every chef including B
Bob himself will be fingered. So this makes ZPF a looting machine and anyone who tries anything against will just fall on the way side as we are about to see Jono fate. Its a matter of time.
Perhaps Sibanda could spell out these liberation ideals!!
Sibanda never a genuine war veteran and a complete waste of good sadza.
