The sanctions have become irrelevant and were rendered useless by the resilience of the Zimbabwean people. They were meant for a quick regime change and 14 years down the line, no such change is coming. USA is now desperate after the EU removed almost all ZANU PF officials and diamond companies from the sanctions list.

The front for Western imperialism in Zimbabwe (MDC) is disintegrating and people have lost hope and faith in the movement.
What option is there now for the West? A moderate ZANU PF character or a combination of “democrats” and “revolutionaries” who can protect Western interests in Zimbabwe.

You live in the alternate reality Mr Mucha. There is nothing the US or Europe are desperate for in Zimbabwe. Any interest they have is humanitarian. After all they feed the people who would otherwise starve as a result of the depredations of the Racist Mugabe Regime.

Oh pulleeaase. Kangai died last August. Of course he’s off the sanctions list. For the rest of them? Watch carefully and track each and every one straight to their overseas bank accounts.

@Lindy Lou-well said because cowards die a million times well as heroes die once. When you stand for your rights people begin to take you seriously but when you do not know your rights they just bulldoze you easily. We have a problem of lack of self rights and man made fear.
Recently, our area had terrible noise from a few drunk so-called band making funny nonsensical noises up to about 0020hrs in the morning. What surprised me is that the residents near that noise place did nothing until I took steps through the police. I live about 1.5 kilometers from the source of noise but it was so noisy like its inside my house.I first phoned the local police station which is Queens Park but there was no one to answer the line ,so I tried their second line of their PABX switchboard which gave me engaged tone, that meant that the phones were working but on a private call.I then went direct to Byo Central Information Centre to be answered by a very professional person by the name MAfukusi who attended to me politely and promised to contact Queens Park police via their radio network, which did and called me back to update me.After another 30 minutes with progress,I phoned him again,he then told me that he will talk to their boss at Queens Park, which he did because I got a phone call from their boss who said action will be taken.
At about 0130 hrs the noise went dead. This proves that we still have some good people in the police force who act if you know your rights and you refuse to back down.
