Biti’s infidelity

via Biti’s infidelity | The Zimbabwean 22 July 2014 by Jera

From Tsvangirai’s camp came revelations of Biti’s infidelity. Apparently the judgemental Mr Biti was out carousing with his mistress when he pranged his car in Chegutu, a secret that Tsvangirai had never used against him. The MDC Renewal Team is pushing for Tsvangirai to resign for bringing the party into disrepute for his womanising.

Thank goodness for melanin because Biti, who leads the Renewal renegades, would have been red with embarrassment to learn that his own extramarital shenanigans have been made public. From the Tsvangirai camp a further shot was fired at Mugabe, reminding the president that he too cheated on his wife Sally, when he impregnated First Lady Grace.

What is more, Sally was battling for her life against a chronic kidney ailment, as Grace and Robert cavorted on the desk tops of his Munhumutapa office – or wherever it is that cheating presidents choose to cavort.

You guys are all the same, cannot keep it in your pants, and none of you are different, so my suggestion is to shut up, join together and get on with the job of getting mugabe and the evils out of this country…Unity is strength and a house divided is a house fallen…So wake up and focus on the real problems instead of being useless hypocites and blaming each other for the very same sins you are committing.

They are all the same indeed but not keeping it in one’s pants doesn’t translate into destroying one’s country.

But quite right, if they have any Zim blood in them at all, they should wake up and think, Country.

@thembanithe newspapers and this forum have been flooded with the Twangirayi stories. In Ndebele they say Baboons laugh at each others foreheads. I don’t blame him for retaliating. He kept his mouth shut for some time now and these promiscuous clowns were trying to behave like they were priests. Maybe now they can shut their mouths and continue with the job at hand. We all know the Monica Lewinsky story. That did not stop Clinton from being one of the most successful Presidents when it came to the American economy, hence the saying”Its the economy stupid”

Straight Shooter are you with the renewal team? Biti and Nkomo are promiscuous just like Twsangirayi. All three are a disgrace where this matter is concerned. Are you saying someone of Bitis age and stature is allowed scandals?

        The Nkomo story

ASSOCIATED Newspapers of Zimbabwe CEO Sam Sipepa Nkomo is divorcing his wife of 35 years, reports said Thursday.

Nkomo, 62, has initiated divorce proceedings and is now living with Roselyn Xaba, 52, who is also divorcing her husband of 30 years, according to the vernacular weekly, Umthunywa.

Nkomo is a devout Christian and prominent member of the Seventh Day Adventist church in Zimbabwe.

Nkomo has four children with his current wife, Magqwetha, and two others born out of wedlock while Roselyn Xaba and her husband, Jabulani, have four children.

Umthunywa, quoting sources, said Sipepa Nkomo recently flew to the UK at the behest of Roselyn to inform one of the Xabas’ children that her father was in fact The Daily News chief, not Xaba, a Bulawayo businessman.

It is not known how the girl whose wedding was blessed by the Xaba family earlier this year received the news, the paper said.

Nkomo’s wife, Magqwetha, told the paper that she got married to Nkomo when she was 19.

She told the paper that her problems started in August this year when she returned from the United States where she had gone to see their son’s newly-born baby.

When she left Zimbabwe in February, she said, they had no problems in their marriage. But on her return, she “found a different Nkomo”.

She said: “When I got back in Zimbabwe, I remember preparing to go to our restaurant in Harare where I normally worked. Nkomo told me to wait as he was expecting a visitor.

“This visitor did arrive, a man called Bhebhe and one of Nkomo’s friends. He said there was something he wanted to tell me but we needed a quiet place.

“We found some quiet place and he informed me that he had been sent by Nkomo to tell me that I was not caring and he no longer enjoyed being around me.

“I was shocked by this because I thought we were happy together.”

Nkomo’s wife says she insisted on hearing it from her husband and they arranged a meeting.

She added: “Nkomo told me that he had been patient enough with my apparent lack of kindness, especially towards his relatives, which I found totally puzzling because his relatives are always at our house and I have detected no ill-feeling.

“While he was explaining himself, I had this nagging feeling that there was something that he was not telling me.

“In the days that followed, I started getting letters about our businesses and our Glenlorne house which he had sold. Together with the children, we tried to stop the sale of the house but it was all in vain.

“As I speak, I am looking for a house to stay with my children.”

Nkomo’s wife says she soon started hearing rumours that Nkomo was now living with another woman, which explained his “strange behaviour”. Nkomo, she said, has already taken Roselyn to his relatives in Tsholotsho and introduced her as his new wife.

Jabulani Xaba, meanwhile, said he was not perturbed by his wife’s decision to leave him for Nkomo but wanted her to stop using his surname and revert to her maiden name, Moyo.

“I just want her to stop using my surname, it’s a disgrace. Where have you seen a woman of her age still chasing men? It’s unheard of,” said Xaba.

Nkomo refused to answer questions, saying it was his private life and “an issue for the courts not newspapers”.

Roselyn also refused to answer questions about her relationship with Nkomo.

            Doctor
Tswangirayi nearly became the country’s President in 2008; not Biti, Welshman Ncube; Dabengwa or Makoni. Because of this, he remains a strong contender for the Presidency. We can not therefore have a womaniser for a President. His blunders are too much to mention.

As long as he is a front runner for the Presidency within the opposition ranks – its open season for some of us in head-butting him in every which way until he lives up to our expectations of what we regard as Presidential material in democracy!!

Why dont you ask him? Biti is saying the right things about Tswangirayi; thus far we agree. But it doesnt mean I want him as President. You are getting confused because you think I am like you who is a “follow; follow; follow – follow the leader”. I am not a desciple of anybody. I am driven by views not sentiments!!

Sometime in 1999 I attended a meeting during MDC’s formative years and I remarked to my friend that Tsvangirai is hopelessly naive and lacks depth.Admittedly he is well meaning and a democract of sorts.Since he is not up to the task I can forgive him for being outfoxed by Mgbe but I cant understand his failure to consolidate the party when he had all the support in the world.Secondly when talk of discontent in the cockpit came he assured pple that all was well and conference was in 2016.Now Biti and co.(whose personality I despise) are out he says congress is in Oct.Can one of Tsvangi s supporters explain this to me.Also cant he assimilate some capable and apt pple into MDC ranks not pyschos like Job

In mature democracies, when there is a crisis economically, socially etc the leadership calls for elections so that the led can give you a new mandate or give another person power. Japan is a good example where leaders would not last for a year without going back to the people to seek a fresh manadate. There is a crisis in MDC, the solution go to congress to elect new leaders.
The Zimbabwe Econony will continue to get worse as long as Mugabe and company continue to put themselves in power without the peoples mandate.Voting is spiritual
