Finance Minister Patrick Chinamasa has been sucked into the acrimonious fallout between Foreign Affairs minister Simbarashe Mumbengegwi and his deputy Christopher Mutsvagwa.
The fight took a turn for the worst yesterday with Mutsvangwa claiming that Chinamasa as head of delegation set to China later this week had specifically requested that the former Zimbabwean envoy to Beijing to be part of his entourage.
Mutsvagwa claimed Chinamasa as head of delegation specifically requested Mumbengegwi that he needed him in his delegation for my expertise.
Mutsvagwa said he was initially supposed to be party to the selection process on who would make up the delegation to China.
He said he should have been involved in the selection of the delegation and they had done this with Mumbengegwi without consulting Chinamasa.

Misplaced priorities. That tells you a lot about what’s happening…..the results of all these missions are ZERO if not lost millions in Flight tickets, accommodation and travelling and subsistence allowances paid
