Tsvangirai wants Mujuru & Co

via Bulawayo24 NEWS | Tsvangirai wants Mujuru & Co 16 February 2015

The opposition MDC-T has invited officials from the camp led by ex-vice president Joice Mujuru to cross the floor and join hands with Morgan Tsvangirai in a grand coalition to defeat President Robert Mugabe in 2018.

MDC-T national executive member Nelson Chamisa said it was refreshing that former Zanu-PF secretary for administration Didymus Mutasa now agreed with them on the ruling party’s deficiencies.

He said Zanu-PF become a haven of factions and urged disgruntled members to join the MDC.

Chamisa also called upon his fellow comrades Welshman Ncube and Tendai Biti who broke away to come back on board.

He dismissed reports that he intended to form his own party or join Biti’s breakaway faction saying he did not believe in rebellion.

Tactically this would be a disastrous move. Zanu pf has infiltrated MDC on many occasions. What value would these tainted individuals add to the opposition? Morgan needs to think carefully about this. Who knows what Zanu would do to get these dodgy individuals to further cause splits in the opposition. The Simba Makoni situation failed and Simba is an angel compared to these Gamatox individuals.

I do not know if this analytical tool was ever tested by those trying to deliver in politics:
It is called a ”brown paper exercise” It is very objective, widely inclusive and accurate. I wonder if any of them would dare try it. You would be surprised as to what can come out of the exercise.
