HARARE – Zanu PF preparations for its annual conference, to be held in Matabeleland South are at an advanced stage, the party’s politburo has said.
Speaking to journalists after the politburo, Zanu PF spokesperson Simon Khaya Moyo said the conference was one of the major issues that were discussed yesterday
“The preparations for the conference were part of the discussions and all sub-committees submitted their reports and everything seems to be going on exceedingly well,” Khaya-Moyo said.
He said the party is winding up on the process and by weekend the preparations will be complete.
Khaya-Moyo also said President Emmerson Mnangagwa reminded party members and the country for the annual environment day for tree planting which is observed annually on the December 5, adding people should not lose sight of that date
According to Khaya-Moyo, Mnangagwa also said both the public and private sector should take up cleaning of their working environment on December 5, every year for two hours.
