Numerous Dead People’s IDs “Used to Vote” Discovered in Chegutu

By Staff Reporter | ZimEye

There was shock in the satelite town of Chegutu on Tuesday morning when residents discovered numerous identity cards many belonging to deceased people and some to those who migrated into the diaspora.

“Every second I am getting calls of people discovering abandoned IDs that were used to rig this election in Chegutu 85% of the IDs in this picture are dead people and a good number in the diaspora. What a Shame to Zuma for endorsing this Fraud,” said MDC-T election candidate for the area, Charlton Hwende.

It was not immediately clear at the time of writing how the names on the ID cards have been linked to the people who actually voted in the election.

ZimEye is currently awaiting a full stock count of the IDs discovered by Chegutu residents. More to follow…

Politics is a game. It involves a lot of treachery, the world over. the reason Obama is hacking into people’s phones is because of politics. the reason why we have so many spy agencies and the ‘cold wars’ is politics, now you will have to forgive Tsvangirai & MDC for the rout. They dont know politics. In politics you dont cry fowl, you play fowl: thats why they call it a dirt game. I would urge all progressive minded MDC guys to start studying politics, I notice many of them are lawyers. Like the bible say: a good man falls 7 times and waits to rise the 8th time. Its a lie you are down and out. experiences are teaching lessons. Go out and study more about this game. Take a leaf from Micheal Sata of Zambia, how many times did he fail? and where is he now?thats life. Peace maGents.

Why does this small group of people who spent some time either in prison, bush and/or exile seem to have licence over the livelihood of the majority. Now its better off dead heroes than living.I salute those who were at the war front. A liberator cant be a Governor, because he kicks himself in the ass.Its time suicide bombers get to work in zimbabwe.

Dead people dont vote. Remember one can only vote once, how do you remove the ink to vote for the dead person and for yourself. We are the winning vote. the Alien vote was the game changer and only a few managed to get their documents right before the vote. How many Aliens are in the farms??? Next time with their vote the margin will double.

ZIMBABWE POLITICAL PARTIES HELPED ZANU (PF)’S ALLEGED STEALING OF 2013 NATIONAL ELECTIONS

As much as talk of ZANU (PF) rigging the elections, the real blame must lie with the other political parties in Zimbabwe particularly the two MDCs. I have high regard for Tsvangirai and Ncube for agreeing to a coalition government as the country was on the verge of total collapse as Zanu (PF) was not prepared to move an inch. The participation of the MDCs in the coalition government gave a semblance of order.

My first task is to ask these questions to the MDCs: Why did you allow yourselves to go into an election that you knew or ought to know was going to be rigged? Was there any real change from the elections of 2008 that created a level playing field besides the promise of non- violence? Why didn’t you cry loud when other credible international observers like the United Nations were barred from participation? Did you know that all rural areas were going to be ‘voter assisted areas’ as was always the case before?

If any answer to the above questions is in the positive then you are more motivated by power grab rather than standing for constitutional democratic principles. The prospect of the trappings of power has blinded you to the extent that you are prepared to take risk games. You should have taken an honourable position by standing your ground until all the conditions for a reasonably free and fair conditions were created. Take for instance this case of the printing of excessive ballots and denial of voter’s roll – the point at which you discovered this should have given you enough evidence to withdrawn from the race. You cannot partake in an election without control of the ballot papers and the voters’ roll – that is where the whole election lies – and is the area where the greatest opportunity for stealing an election lies. Getting involved in an election without seeing the voters’ roll is like wedding a person you have not seen in person or on paper or in electronic terms. Withdrawing from the election could have been understandably harder but at least it could have produced better results than the options available to you now. You now have to face the judiciary which I believe will not rule in your favour.

You thought you had found real friends in SADC and AU. Your participation in the election and absence of violence helped these two toothless bull dogs an escape route to declare the elections free and fair notwithstanding other overwhelming evidence to the contrary. The credibility of elections is not only judged by the absence of violence but by other factors critically the authenticity of the voters’ roll and control of ballot papers. SADC and the AU are made up of individual countries which have their own problems, take the case of South Africa, President Zuma was one of the first if not first SADC head of state to congratulate ZANU (PF). It is not an act of honour on his part but rather an act of appeasement on Mugabe as he feels his own political existence is threatened by an angry Mugabe. There is widespread perception within the ANC that Julius Malema’s party is being financed and influenced by President Mugabe as an act of divide and rule.

Not only have you let yourselves (MDCs) down but have also betrayed millions of Zimbabweans around the globe who were eager to see change in Zimbabwe. You cheaply gave ZANU (PF) what it wanted on a silver platter. It is now free to beat the drums with sharp axes. My message to ZANU (PF) is that you can run away with fooling Zimbabweans and the world, but you cannot fool The Almighty Jehovah. He is waiting for you to account!

Wither Zimbabwe! Let’s wait for divine intervention.
