SADC Urges Zimbabwe Sanctions Review

via Business Week -Southern African Group’s Head Urges Zimbabwe Sanctions Review

Joyce Banda, chairwoman of the Southern African Development Community, called on western nations to review sanctions against Zimbabwe after the country’s presidential election last month.

“I want the West to review its position on the sanctions in Zimbabwe,” Banda, who also is Malawi’s president, said in remarks at the closing of an SADC summit meeting held in her country’s capital, Lilongwe. “Zimbabweans deserve better and Zimbabweans have suffered enough.”

Sanctions against Zimbabweans including President Robert Mugabe were imposed in 2003 by U.S. President George W. Bush, a Republican, and were continued under his Democratic successor, Barack Obama. Mugabe was re-elected for another five-year term. The SADC has 15 members including Angola and Mozambique.

“I want sanctions reviewed. ..Zimbabweans have suffered enough”. You as who? When a country’s ruler chooses to travel a certain path, he/she is responsible for the outcome. Quite how people who are running their own countries and are accountable to their own electorate can be held responsible is buffoonery at it’s worst.

This Joyce Banda is a Jezebel. Who does she think she is? She just a street woman given to loose morals. We thought she was made of better stuff, only to open her mouth as well as dropping her dirty knickers in public like a village prostitute high on illicit beer now soliciting for illicit sex. “I want the West to review its position on the sanctions in Zimbabwe,” Banda, who also is Malawi’s president, said in remarks at the closing of an SADC summit meeting held in her country’s capital, Lilongwe. “Zimbabweans deserve better and Zimbabweans have suffered enough.” You’re better advised to leave Zimbabweans alone you Jezebel!!!

I have noticed something that this is an MDC site
What has made me come to the conclusion is the way and the manner the headings are written and this site never speaks about Zanu PF in a positive light or even about any other topics apart from Mugabe this and Mugabe that.
What about the new toll roads the Diamond mine just outside Gweru that is doing wonders or about the local tobacco farming doubling the out put

Colon – if you weren’t so full of it all the time you’d have been blocked already …. we keep you on because you’re probably a good reflection of a disproportionately sad malaise that’s infected Africa but your views do have a place. So stay on as a guest and engage as best you can or go away as you see fit.
