A plane carrying Zimbabwe’s president Robert Mugabe was forced to abort a planned landing in Harare on Tuesday due to heavy fog, landing instead in the country’s second city of Bulawayo.

“His aircraft was forced to land at Joshua Nqabuko,” state radio Spot FM reported.

Mugabe, 90, was returning from Vatican City where he had attended the canonisations of Popes John Paul II and John XXIII.

Mugabe, a Catholic, is subject to a European Union travel ban, but can attend ceremonies at the Vatican.

A more interesting headline should have read “MUGARBAGES PLANE CRASHES AND HE AND HIS DISGRACEFUL WIFE ARE DEAD!”

Its not newsworthy, mugabe is a dead man already yet they fear that he may die. They should have saved fuel at least

Who cares about such a moving skeleton. Even vultures would have ignored his carcass if that plane had crashed.

    Unfortunately the plane landed safely.
