Police keen to quiz Sikhala

Police are keen to quiz MDC-T’s Job Sikhala over utterances that he made at the weekend where he urged party supporters to brace for “war” against the Government.
Police chief spokesperson Senior Assistant Commisioner Charity Charamba confirmed the development last night.
“We have invited him over utterances he made at a rally in Kuwadzana at the weekend,” she said. Sikhala’s lawyer and MDC-T official Mr Obert Gutu said he had talked to officials at the Law and Order section and assured them that he would come with Sikhala this morning.

“I have made an arrangement with the officers that we will take my client to Harare Central Police tomorrow at 10am,” he said. “We do not know what they want, but if law enforcement agents invite us, my client is a law abiding citizen so he will duly comply.”

Mr Gutu said enquiries he made showed the police wanted to quiz Sikhala over some utterances he made at a rally.

Sikhala, who returned to the MDC-T fold recently, addressed party supporters in Harare’s Kuwadzana suburb where he attempted to incite people against the Government. Sikhala was accompanied by MDC-T national organising secretary Nelson Chamisa at the rally.

For those not particularly bright, freedom of speech does not cover inciting violence and terrorism.

Apolitical is definitely a ZANU supporter. Concepts such as democracy, freedom of speech, etc, are, naturally, unknown or alien to him. Who is inciting “violence and terrorism” in Zimbabwe? The answer is very simple. It’s those who boast that they have degrees in violence, and have killed, maimed or tortured thousands. Everybody knows who they are. It’s Robert Gabriel Mugabe and his ZANU PF goons.

Your party is the main source of violence. Arrest yourselves first so that we can see that you are not liars

Mr Apolitical if you you look at the face of your dying leader can you see a trace of happiness there. He has blood all over his body that’s why he want to die in the office. He is the first person to be locked up by the international court of justice if they had that chance. He is just a cruel dictator

So it’s ok for the President and his party to incite people, but it’s a police matter if the speaker is a member of the opposition? Ever heard of something called “the rule of law?” It’s the concept whereby everyone is equal before the law, regardless of party affiliation, wealth, religion, tribe, sex or sexual preference. It’s what investors like to see when they’re thinking of investing their money in a country. Zimbabwe scores another own goal again!

Please do not use words carelessly because words like Terrorism has serious meaning that would make every organisation and individuals qualify as terrorists.Tell me which government or organisation or individual who does not qualify to be a terrorist.Think before you write words which are carelessly used for suppressing the masses by those who fail to resolve problems through dialogue to justify the use of violence.

Zanu PF is now infested by a spineless junta of pseudo revolutionaries who are consistently petrified by their own shadows.

Perhaps it may be lingering ghosts of the traumatised spirit of General Mujuru et al, brave men and women who paid the ultimate price in this devious Game of Thrones unravelling at Shake Shake House ( Ever noticed how the Cockerel that “slew” the Bull still remains proudly perched majesticaly at the apex of the Zanu PF HQ till today, a good 25 years after unity accord?).

To react to Sikhala is to give him free publicity he doesnt deserve. Arresting of Sikhala betrays the paranoia beset in these revolutionarylites!

Imagine Nikita Mangena or Josiah Tongogara losing sleep over Sikhala lol…how the mighty have fallen!
