Zanu PF pestering us for economic advice — Chamisa

MASVINGO – Nelson Chamisa, the MDC organising secretary, has said Zanu PF officials were pestering opposition officials in the corridors of Parliament, seeking advice on how to revive Zimbabwe’s collapsing economy.

The former ICT minister told his party’s 15th anniversary at Mucheke Stadium on Saturday that Zanu PF officials have admitted that they have no solutions to save the economy.

“Zanu PF is clueless on what to do with this crumbling economy,” Chamisa told a bumper crowd that turned out for the rally.

“We are now facing torrid times at Parliament with Zanu PF ministers in the pavements. They follow us secretly when we go to the toilets and ask for some advice and ideas to fix the economy.”

He said Zanu PF was aware of the MDC’s ability to run the economy, saying the inclusive government recorded economic growth that was reversed when Zanu PF won an exclusive mandate to run the country in 2013.

“They know that we can run the country’s economy that’s why they are following us even to the toilets at Parliament but we have resolved not to help them,” he said.

“Let them do it for themselves and we will see if they can fix it.”

He said Zanu PF was failing to provide the 2 million  jobs it promised in its election manifesto.

There has been accelerated de-industrialisation since Zanu PF’s poll victory.

Chamisa said MDC and its leader, Morgan Tsvangirai were key to economic revival. “Zanu PF has no capacity to revive the industry and create jobs for millions of struggling Zimbabweans,” Chamisa said.

VERY ADULT OF MDC T, IF THEY ARE ASKING FOR ADVICE GIVE IT TO THEM, GOD KNOWS, WE ALL NEED THE ASSISTANCE! SURELY WE SHOULD ALL WORK TOGETHER, I REALISE THAT NONE OF THE POLITICAL PARTIES CAN ACTUALLY MAKE A PLAN BECAUSE THEY ARE ALL SO FRACTURED, BUT A BIT OF COLUSION MIGHT HELP EVERYONE OF US.

They claimed that the GNU was frustrating their economic recovery agenda…..they got the mandate to resuscitate the economy on their own, now let them go ahead and do it.

This following of men to the toilet is a well known ZANU behavior and has nothing to do with economics

True citzens of Zimbabwe with the country and not politics at heart should not wait to be asked to give advice on how the country should be run but should just volunteer it. That is the beauty of politics in the developed world! It time people in Zimbabwe just stoped the blame game driven by the unbridled desire to taste political power and concentrated on building the nation. I do not know where Chamisa of MDC-T of ” Hamusati mashaya, muchashaisisa” song which Zimbabweans will never forget , gets the clout to blame ZANU PF for the economic problems that are affecting Zimbabwe when it was his party which invited sanctions on the country. In the Ebo language they say , “A dog should consider the size of its anus first before it swallows the seed of an udwala tree”.

The MDC and all the other parties are sleeping with ZANU. If they want meaningful change this alliance would not be going on . Given the level of corruption in our country one wonders how much these corrupt people are getting by Zanu. The mind boggles. Lets get real
