Riot police have now left the Bronte Hotel gardens where the press conference scheduled by MDC president Nelson Chamisa was supposed to have taken place an hour ago. Acting Information Minister SK Moyo apparently intervened and ordered the police to leave. Local and international journalists who had been ordered to leave by the police are now back again and it appears the press conference will take place shortly.
Chamisa has now arrived. Watch this space.
