Electioneering in Zimbabwe is gathering pace as the two major parties select candidates to contest the general election later in 2023. The ruling ZANU PF will hold primary elections next weekend, while the main opposition Citizens Coalition for Change led by Nelson Chamisa is already identifying its candidates. Over five million Zimbabweans are registered to vote.
