MDC-T official Job Sikhala who, on Thursday morning was arrested by police in Beitbridge, has been released, the party’s spokesperson Obert Gutu has said.
Earlier, Gutu Facebooked the unclear circumstances under which Sikhala was arrested.
“Job “Wiwa” Sikhala has been arrested by the ZRP in Beitbridge,” he posted.
“Officers from CID Law & Order department say that they will escort Job Sikhala from Beitbridge to Harare today,” said Gutu.
“Legal representation for Sikhala has been arranged although we are not yet clear what exact charges the Police intend to prefer against him.”
