Whilst we welcome the targeted measures on Mr Mugabe and his inner circle, I think this is not enough to deal with such malefactors.

I think the general public, civil society organisations and local chapters of international organisations such as Human Rights Watch should lobby the International Criminal Court to investigate the 2008 presidential run-off political violence which left over 200 people dead and thousands displaced. Also, 2005’s Operation Murambatsvina must augment this.
