Vice President Joice Mujuru has said Dr Grace Mugabe is wasting her time, following calls by the First Lady for the Vice President to resign amid serious allegations of corruption, extortion and divisiveness.

Mujuru, who was responding for the first time since the call for her to step down or face humiliation said this during her graduation party in Dotito.

Mujuru who faces heavy criticism from Grace who has stood firm on her call for the Vice President to step down, however said all this was a waste of time.

Mujuru continued with her veiled attack on Dr Mugabe who recently graduated with a PHD by saying that one’s academic qualifications should make them a better person.

On allegations of working with political parties like Mavambo and the MDC formations, Mujuru said she made her contribution in the liberation struggle and cannot be labelled a sell out.

Speaking to war veterans at her Mazowe Children’s Home last week, Grace said Mujuru is corrupt, divisive and is involved in extortion as well as plotting to remove President Robert Mugabe from power.

Mujuru’s graduation party was attended by Webster Shamu, Dr Sikhanyiso Ndlovu, Amos Midzi,  Rugare Gumbo, Temba Mliswa,  Enoch Porusingazi, Engineer Munacho Mutezo, Freddy Kanzama, Cde Christopher Chigumba, Cde Tshinga Dube and Cde Kindness Paradza, among others.
