Mugabe arrives in SA

via President Mugabe arrives in SA | The Herald November 4, 2013

President Robert Mugabe arrived in Pretoria on Monday to attend the joint SADC and the International Conference on the Great Lakes Region (ICGLR) summit of Heads of State and Government. He was met at the Waterkloof Air Force Base by Zimbabwean Foreign Affairs Minister Simbarashe Mumbengegwi.

The summit is expected to receive a report on progress that the Democratic Republic of Congo government forces have made against the M23 rebels.

The DRC government has recaptured all the towns that the M23 rebels had taken, resulting in a unilateral ceasefire which is being seen as a tactic by the rebels to regroup.

The summit, which had widely been expected to discuss the resumption of armed conflict in Mozambique and which brings together 16 African countries, will also provide regional leaders an opportunity to share information on the potential of threat  posed by terrorism. New Ziana

Any person who takes up arms against the legitimate government is a rebel or terrorist and should be shot on sight without negotiation.

The election was rigged in the DRC and SADC endorsed the election results and refused to listen to the congolese people in their call for free and fair election.

SADC is useless, used by powerful leaders. Can someone tell me what SADC ever did to respect the wishes of the people and opposed the sitting president.
