via Mliswa dodges bullets 8 october 2014 by Jera
Word coming out of Zanu (PF) headquarters is that Temba Mliswa has dodged a bullet – where Zanu (PF) is concerned, that may be either literal or figurative. Zanu (PF) spokesman, Rugare Gumbo, has said Mliswa and the 11 other MPs who were accused of receiving funds from the CIA will not be disciplined by the party because there is no evidence to support these allegations. Rugare Gumbo is a spin man. His job is to tell us sewerage smells like Chanel Number 5. Mliswa pretty much built his own
“Professor Moyo is more CIA than me because he ran Ford Foundation in Kenya where he stole money and was forgiven. Who is a CIA agent, the one who ran a fund or me, who just received?” he said.
A few more ‘filthy’ dollars
Mliswa’s speech amounts to a confession. The air surrounding Zanu (PF), in Rotten Row, is thick with the odour of political cover up. Mliswa confessed but obviously Zanu (PF) wants to cover it up, out of embarrassment – ‘Keep your Britain and I will keep my Zimbabwe.’ After all the abuse hurled at the West, the revolutionary party does not want to be seen taking money from the CIA, of all organisations. At every opportunity Zanu (PF) refer to the MDC formations as being funded by the West, puppets of Britain.
Money knows no race or political affiliation. The children of senior government officials are educated abroad, in ‘enemy territory.’ American and EU donor funds have kept the country going since Zanu (PF) dynamited the economy. Browsing pictures of Zanu (PF) gatherings, one will spot anti-Western placards reading ‘keep your filthy money.’ If Mliswa received money from the CIA, what’s a few more ‘filthy’ dollars?
