The Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education has activated the online platform for 2027 Form One placement applications.
The development was confirmed on Monday evening by the ministry’s acting director for ICT, learning and technical services, Goodwill Kudakwashe Chademana.
“Please be advised that the Electronic Ministry Application Platform (eMAP) is now activated and accessible for learners to submit their Form One enrolment applications online,” he said.
“The platform can be accessed via the following link: http://www.emap.co.zw/Form1Enrol/.”
Chademana called on stakeholders to share the information widely through official communication channels to ensure all prospective learners and parents are informed in time.
eMAP is an online system that allows Grade Seven learners to apply for Form One boarding school places.
It was introduced to curb corruption during the enrolment of Form One students and to remove limitations such as geography and to remove corruption by limiting direct interaction between parents and the administration.
Learners can apply to a maximum of five schools at a time.
