FBC Bank unveils four new Mastercard offerings The offerings include FBC Mastercard World Credit, FBC Mastercard World Debit, FBC Mastercard Platinum Prepaid and the FBC Mastercard Gold Rand Prepaid.

FBC Bank has launched four new premium Mastercard offerings in partnership with Mastercard International, as part of its efforts to upgrade and improve customer service.

The offerings include FBC Mastercard World Credit, FBC Mastercard World Debit, FBC Mastercard Platinum Prepaid and the FBC Mastercard Gold Rand Prepaid.

FBC’s premium Mastercard provides cardholders a comprehensive suite of transaction capabilities, including online and e-commerce payments, contactless transactions, and card-not-present transactions, facilitating convenient and secure payments.

These transactions were rolled out in collaboration with merchants and service providers globally.

According to FBC, its premium offering, the Mastercard World Credit, is designed for high-end clients and offers seamless transactions on Mastercard-enabled platforms, both locally and internationally, providing a convenient and hassle-free experience.

The premium Mastercard offers an array of exclusive benefits, that include complimentary airport lounge access in over 1 200 countries worldwide, 30 discounts at top hotel chains globally and 15 percent discounts at IHG Hotels and Resorts in Europe, Maldives, India, the Middle East and Africa.

In addition to its existing benefits, the premium Mastercard also offers up to 35 percent off car rentals, plus complimentary upgrades with Avis car rental, automatic travel insurance coverage of up to US$500 000, exclusive access to unique experiences, including fine dining, travel, and entertainment, through Priceless Cities offer as well as 30 percent discounts across 100 000 MyUS retailers worldwide.

These premium benefits provide cardholders with unparalleled convenience, luxury and value.

FBC Mastercard World Debit card functions locally through Zimswitch and globally on Mastercard platforms, providing benefits similar to the FBC Mastercard World Credit.

The FBC Mastercard Platinum Prepaid is Targeted at mid-tier customers and  offers worldwide acceptance and exclusive benefits, including a 15 percent discount at IHG Hotels and Resorts in Europe, Maldives, India, the Middle East, and Africa.

While the benefits of the FBC Mastercard Platinum Prepaid are limited compared to the other two offerings, it still provides valuable perks, including global acceptance.

Every holder of the card will be treated to exclusive discounts on gifts, retail purchases, and dining experiences in South Africa, Zimbabwe, Zambia, and Mauritius, courtesy of priceless specials.

The FBC Mastercard Gold Rand Prepaid will be exclusively for South African Rands and ideal for traders outside borders.

It offers a range of exclusive benefits, including access to dining, travel, and entertainment experiences worldwide through Priceless Cities, 10 percent discount on car rentals when booking on Rentalcars.com and 20 percent discount on Avis car rentals among an array of benefits.

The cards incorporate advanced security features to protect transactions, including Chip and PIN technology Card Verification Value (CVV) and Card Verification Code (CVC2), 3D Secure with One-Time Password (OTP) authentication as well as Real-time SMS and email alerts for added peace of mind.

FBC Holdings deputy group chief executive Webster Rusere said at the launch of the new offerings that the group’s ultimate objective was to deliver tailored financial solutions that cater for the unique needs and preferences of customers.
