Ray Nkosi | Flamboyant businessman and ZIFA chairman Philip Chiyangwa is not under arrest it has emerged. Chiyangwa has been in touch with ZimEye.com to refute the media claims that he is under arrest.
Also speaking on LIVE video from South Africa businessman Mutumwa Mawere said, ” I think most of you have heard that Chiyangwa has been arrested, but I just spoke to him a few minutes ago, and he said nothing like that happened.”
The Voice of America’s Studio 7 had earlier reported that Zimbabwe Football Association (ZIFA) Chiyagwa was arrested while attempting to sneak out of Zimbabwe with large sums of money.
It further reported that Chiyangwa was arrested with one of his workers Chamu Chiwanza Saturday evening.
