By Farai D Hove| Former Higher Education Minister Jonathan Moyo has alleged that President Emmerson Mnangagwa and his deputy Constantino Chiwenga are guilty of killing a top CIO Peter Munetsi during the Operation Restore Order in November last year.

Writing on his portal on Wednesday, Prof Moyo further claimed that there were more killings, including torture and rape in the few days that the army took over in November.

While a comment from either the army or the President’s office could not be obtained at the time of writing, Presidential Spokesman George Charamba had to date issued a blanket statement rubbishing Prof Moyo’s attacks on the new government.

Moyo also posted Munetsi’s picture, but did not provide further details on the alleged murder, how it was carried out, and neither a comment from Munetsi’ own family, the latter which is vital.

Zimbabweans actual care about what happens to hordes of innocent civilians who were killed by CIOs and all other security agents over 37 yrs of Mugabe’s murderous regime. We don’t care about two or even 20 people who where killed when Mugabe’s murderous thugs turn against each other during so-called coup or operation blaa blaaa. In fact we wouldn’t care even if Jonathan Moyo (himself), Saviour, Zhuwao, Ignitius, Robert Mugabe, Grace, etc, had met their death in the process. Only their immediate family would be missing them by now. So, we want to know what happened to our innocent family members who were brutally butchered over the 4 decades of Mugabe dictatorship – not what happened to these other thugs which Jonso is obsessed about. To hell with Jonso & his nonsense!!!!! nxaaaa!

Moyo you are just trying to discredit a legitimate government by fabricated stories. You are angry because the global community is supportive of the current government. You are mad.

Mapingu absolutely correct, lets have full disclosure starting with “Gukurahundi Report” released, then judicial inquiry into all unsolved murders and disappearances where witnesses gave statements and the police never opened dockets or investigated .Very few of these cases would have been carried out by individuals and perpetrators “without blood” on their hands should be offered amnesty to come forward to give evidence to human rights commission so that the healing process can begin .There will never be true peace in our beloved Zimbabwe until JUSTICE is restored and the people regain trust in the police ,military and judicial system that is supposed to protect them and their property.
