Source: Mnangagwa Fires Alleged Nephew Tabani Mpofu From SACU -Report ⋆ Pindula News
President Emmerson Mnangagwa has reportedly fired his alleged nephew and Special Anti-Corruption Unit (SACU) head Tabani Vusa Mpofu over his alleged corruption with fuel mogul Billy Rautenbach.
Sources confirmed to Nehanda Radio that Mpofu has been fired from SACU following allegations he was conniving with Rautenbach to sell fuel outside Zimbabwe through his company Green Fuel.
It is reported that the Zimbabwe Revenue Authority (ZIMRA) this week impounded two trucks loading unleaded fuel with allegations that Mpofu and Rautenbach are the runners.
The duo reportedly claimed the trucks were carrying Covid-19 sanitisers.
Mpofu did not answer phone calls when Nehanda Radio contacted him for a comment on reports that he had been fired from SACU.
SACU was established in 2018 by Mnangagwa with aim of improving efficiency in the fight against graft and strengthen the effectiveness of national mechanisms for the prevention of corruption.

What does alleged nephew mean?
Surely the man is either a nephew or not a nephew.
But I can’t believe that ED would sack even an alleged nephew for being a thief as ED being the Head Thief in Zimbabwe would be very proud to have a nephew, even only an alleged one, as a thief.
But when you study Tabani’s fat overfed face you can see that he has been eating big helpings on the ZANU PF gravy train for a very long time.
Ndonga you hit the nail spot on. Spot on for sure
When Obert Mpofu “worked” for Customs and Excise it was rumoured that he was married inti the Mnangagwa family. could this be the connection?
