Portfolio Committee: Lands, Agriculture, Water and Rural Development

Oral evidence from the Minister of Lands, Agriculture, Water, Fisheries and Rural Resettlement on the Ministry’s bids for the 2023 National Budget..

Other Committee Activity

Budget, Finance and Economic Development and Expanded SDGs Committee

This joint committee has already conducted public consultations around the whole country from 3rd to 7th October on to hear public views on what the 2023 National Budget should provide.  It will be meeting in closed session on Tuesday morning 18th October to consider its draft report on the Outcomes of the 2023 National Budget Consultations.

Joint Portfolio Committee on Local Government and Energy and Power Development

This joint committee will be meeting in closed session for deliberations on evidence received from the Ministry of Local Government and Public Works and Alpha Developers on the petition received from Premier Park Residents on the Lack of Service Delivery on Water, Sewerage and Energy in the Hatcliffe Consortium Area.

No meetings for other Committees

Committees other than those listed above will not be meeting due to events related to Preparations for the 2023 National Budget.

Preparations for the 2023 National Budget

The following preparations for the 2023 National Budget were announced in the National Assembly and Senate on Wednesday 12th October:

Pre-Budget Briefing for all Members of National Assembly and Senate

This will take place at the Rainbow Towers Hotel on Monday 17th October.

Pre-Budget Seminar for all Members of National Assembly and Senate

This will run from Friday 21st to Monday 24th October.
