Poverty Pushes Zimbabwe’s Miners Into Dangerous Work Underground

High unemployment and poverty are pushing Zimbabwe’s laborers into mining for gold in disused and dangerous mine shafts that too often turn into death traps.  A mine shaft collapse two weeks ago left at least 10 people trapped underground and feared dead, as Columbus Mavhunga reports from Bindura, Zimbabwe.
