FORMER Cabinet minister Mr Saviour Kasukuwere tried to bribe his way back into Zanu PF following the fall of their bid to thwart President Mnangagwa’s ascendency in 2017, his erstwhile ally Professor Jonathan Moyo has revealed.

This comes as skeletons continue to tumble in the G40 faction following a decision by Prof Moyo and former Cabinet minister Mr Patrick Zhuwao to apologise to Zanu PF for aligning themselves to the opposition, specifically under the #ZanuPFmustgo hashtag.

While both Mr Zhuwao and Prof Moyo have had their Damascene moment, Mr Kasukuwere has not taken kindly to the duo’s public apology.

Kasukuwere in a leaked audio,  attacked Prof Moyo and Mr Zhuwao for penning an apology letter to Zanu PF members.

But taking no prisoners on social media, Prof Moyo claimed Mr Kasukuwere made endless forgiveness calls begging to be readmitted in the revolutionary Zanu PF party.

“Yet days after the coup, Saviour Kasukuwere coined the term ‘new dispensation’; he later made endless forgiveness calls and begged a Zanu PF bigwig with “APOLOGY CATTLE”!

“It’s cheap for Tyson to make hay out of the open ‘apology letter’ @PatrickZhuwao and I wrote. Our letter is public and is to Zanu PF members; unlike his private ‘APOLOGY CATTLE’ to ZANU PF bigwig,” said Professor Moyo.

Professor Moyo questioned whether Kasukuwere will stand by his private apology stance.

In what could expose Kasukuwere as an inconsistent politician, using his Twitter handle @Hon_Kasukuwere, in 2017 he wrote “Let’s embrace the new dispensation and build our nation. Unity is strength and peace is prerequisites for progress.”

Last Saturday it was somersault as Kasukuwere claimed he is “ready to lead” which Professor Moyo corrected saying “There is a difference of day and night between being ‘ready to lead’ and being ‘ready to serve’. Politics is not about leading it is about service!”

Prof Moyo, since apologising to Zanu PF, has exposed the country’s opposition leaders as bereft of ideas to take the nation forward, conceding that it is only the ruling party that can steer the nation to prosperity.

Jonathan Moyo, SHUT UP. You know( and I will quote you, that ZANUPF is “bereft of ideas to take the nation forward.” You are desperately trying to inveigle your way back into the ZANUPF fold. It must be very cold being out there in the political wilderness. Jonathan Moyo you are one very destructive and evil man. We have enough problems in Zimbabwe, we don’t need you adding to them. ZANUPF would be bigger fools than i thought if they take you back. so I say to you, Voertseki and %&#$

And this embarrassing report in The Herald should leave none of us in any doubt that all members of the leadership of ZANU PF, past and present, were only in politics to enrich themselves and their connections.
And the loosers in all of this scratching and scrambling for power to steal Zimbabwe’s wealth were us.
What fools and cowards we were…and still are.

If I can recall, the first Chimurenga was fought primarily by the Matabele. The others not to mention who, feared the Matabele. The Second Chimurenga started by a Matabele the others now tagged along . So cowards are not the Matabele, they would fight tomorrow if they were not so marginalised and brutalized by this regime. This regime knows it and by subjugating the people to nothingness, the people now are struggling to survive ,most leaving the country for a better life . Well better then here most say . No I wouldn’t say the people today are cowards simply tired of everything and more concerned about survival. Change can come but the opposition party namely CCC must educate the people on this matter of voting for change or else the struggle will continue for more years .

Nyoni, the First Matabele War (ie, the first chimurenga, Umvukela was fought between 1893 and 1894 . It pitted the British South Africa Company against the Ndebele (Matabele) Kingdom. Lobengula, was king of the Ndebele, and he initiated the war. The second chimurenga, which ZANUPF like to call the first, was fought in 1896-1897 was initiated by Mashayamombe (June 1896) who led the uprising of the Zezuru Shona people located to the South West of the capital Salisbury. I would call this one the third Chimurenga because in March 1896, the Ndebele spirit medium Mlimo’, led a rebellion when the colonial administrator, Leander Starr Jameson sent troops to fight in the Transvaal, the ill-fated Jameson raid, thus leaving the settlers vulnerable. the fourth chimurenga which started in 1966, when the first shots were fired in Chinhoyi(Sinoia) is what ushered in Independence in 1980. I am sure many will disagree with my summation. But then ZANUPF are not known for telling the truth. Check out the historical facts. I am happy to be corrected. Unlike ZANUPF, I am not afraid of the truth.
