Zanu PF cleric Obadiah Musindo arrested, detained at Harare Central on allegations he stole US$6,000 worth of phones

ZANU PF-aligned preacher Obadiah Musindo has been arrested and is detained at Harare Central police station on allegations he stole US$5,900 worth of cellphones, NewZimbabwe.com has learnt.

Musindo was arrested Monday.

The Destiny for Africa Network founder is alleged to have duped Munyaradzi Kereva who runs a mobile phones company in Harare of an iPhone 14 ProMax (256G) worth US$2,450, an iPhone 12 ProMax (256G) worth US$1,450, a Samsung S22 worth US$1,600 and a Samsung F12 worth US$300 last year October.

According to his docket, gleaned by NewZimbabwe.com Musindo collected the phones and misrepresented to Kereva that he will be coming back with payment.

Musindo allegedly told Kereva he wanted to sell the phones to one of his clients at Sakunda Holdings offices.

He did not return as promised and evaded Kereva until his arrest.

A leopard does not change its colours. As long as Obadiah Musindo holds a ruling party card, nothing will happen to him. Excuse or no excuse he will be let free.

True, Kalulu.  ZANUPF party card is equal to “Get Out of Jail Free” Monopoly card. If phones were confiscated from Musindo, ZRP would investigate and charge whoever tried to return them to the rightful owner.  Zim, under ZANUPF rule, has sunk to nearly the equivalent of middle-ages, serfdom, feudal Europe… the Dark Ages when hope was unknown within a generation.

I suspect it’s possible God has turned His face away from Zim because so few here are left who have not turned their back to Him.  Many have turned to false religions that value their buildings, property, robes, rituals, and creeds more than souls and the authority and simplicity of God’s written message.  Admittedly, Zim isn’t the only entity that suffers from this condition.  I wonder if we’re nearing the end and judgment.  Come quickly, Lord, before your faithful servants suffer more… judge us, and judge those who blaspheme and trouble us.
