ZANU PF is now busy accrediting delegates for the party’s national people’s conference scheduled for this Friday and Saturday at the Gweru Convention Centre.

Zanu PF national chairperson Oppah Muchinguri-Kashiri last Friday led the party’s delegation, including political commissar Mike Bimha on a tour of the conference venue, where she expressed satisfaction at the level of preparedness.

“We are happy with the progress at the venue of the party’s national people’s conference. We are geared for the meeting and all roads lead to the Midlands capital come this Friday,” Muchinguri-Kashiri said.

Speaking to NewsDay yesterday, Zanu PF Midlands provincial chairperson Larry Mavima said renovations at the conference venue were almost complete

“We are at almost 100% completion and the conference is ready,” Mavima said. “Our guys are working day and night to make sure that by Friday everything will be in place,” he said.

Mavima said deliberations would include the party’s achievements since the advent of the second republic when President Emmerson Mnangagwa assumed power in 2017.
