HARARE’s eastern suburbs have been rocked by violent protests that have left hundreds of city-bound commuters stranded as commuter omnibus drivers fought running battles with police over the increasing number of roadblocks, NewsDay has learnt.

Although details are still sketchy, reports indicate business in the agricultural town of Marondera, 70 kilometers east of Harare has also been brought to a halt.

Most affected places are Ruwa, Mabvuku/Tafara, Hatfield and Epworth in the south-east of the capital.

Zimbabwe is tottering on the brink of implosion with protests exploding on a regular basis. Property worth thousands of dollars went up in smoke last week after riots broke out in Beit-Bridge over government’s decision to ban foreign imports of mainly foodstuffs. At least 71 people were arrested 17 of who appeared in court on Sunday in the border town.

Sadly this hasn’t reduced the number of polluter zombiebusses disregarding traffic laws and road safety across the city.

Mugabe and his criminal associates must now be made to remember what the Good Book warned all of us?

Galatians Chapter 6: Verse 7 New King James Version (NKJV)

“Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.”

THE REVOLUTION HAS BEGUN!! LONG LIVE THE REVOLUTION!!

Thank you brave Zimbabweans for standing up to Godfather Bob and his mafia. It was inevitable. The b457476s have no money to pay the civil servants, just loads in their foreign bank accounts. Make sure they are planning their exit strategies, because in this revolution they will all fall, Zimbabweans have had enough, time to do what the Romanians did to Bobs best mate Nicolae Ceaușescu get rid of all of them and put them where they belong, that’s PRISON. Looks like even the Military have had enough, but don’t trust them Zimbabweans, I can see a coup d’etat ordered by the Ngwenya. Be brave fellow Zimbabweans

Stopping work for one day is not enough. Who honestly thinks that Bob was rattled, honestly? Kana mamira basa, do it until the thieves are all gone. Stop work until they are gone. What people don’t realize is that they have the power, not the government. If you want to rebuild an engine, you must break it down first.
Ko muri kumbonotsvageiko kubasa kana musingapiwi mari? All the rubbish must go. Police, army, so called service chiefs.
What Zimbabwe needs is completely new blood. No Joyce Mujuru and her band of thieves. Last time she was recommending relocating corrupt police officers from Mt Pleasant to Kariba when the best option was to fire and jail them in that order. Is the President you want? No.
Just stop all form of work. Just stop it. Musajaidze makudo neano kamhina.

          Fair point Joseph.

Zim needs people in power at ALL levels to be there to SERVE, not just to get rich.

In a country where personal prosperity has little to do with hard work and a lot to do with corruption it won’t be easy, but we HAVE to start somewhere….
