First Lady Dr Grace Mugabe says that man from Matabeleland are only good at marrying and making babies instead of developing their areas.
Mugabe who recently graduated with a doctrate in Sociology from the University of Zimbabwe said this amidst cheers from a crowd of about 4000 predominately Ndebele people in Gwanda on Monday. Dr Mugabe took swipe at the Ndebele men accusing them of marrying a lot of wives and making too many children they end up failing to take care of.
“It is very common here to find a man with 5, 6 or 10 wives what kind of a bull is that?” she said.
Mugabe’s lashing of the Ndebele men was surprisingly met with a huge cheer and clapping of hands from the crowd. Amongst those who cheered were Minister of Sports and Culture Andrew Langa so did ZANU PF national chairman Simon Khaya Moyo and Gwanda Resident Minister Abednico Ncube.
Further to that, Dr Mugabe also accused men from Matabeleland South for not developing themselves but just interested in going down south to Johannesburg to do menial jobs. This is the second time in under 2 years that the first family has attacked the people from Matabeleland for the great trek to South Africa.
President Mugabe attracted huge attacks from the people of Matabeleland when he made the same remarks at the same venue last year. Dr Grace Mugabe also accused the men in the region of being rapists and abusers saying the region provides the highest statistic in terms of rape and women abuse.
Tuesday the First Lady takes her rallies to another of Matabeleland Provinces in Lupane.

There she goes again.This women is a bit crazy. It is an open secret that Gwanda is a CIO town. What ever made people cheer this idiot is obviously got to do with that fact. With all the hurt and pain her family have cause Matabeleland she still has a cheek to talk this kind of rubbish. I blame Robert Mugabe and his Zanu pf party for the destruction of the regions economy. Now they want to blame it on the region having men with many wives. What about the Vapostolies in Mount Darwin, Mukumbura, Dotito and all those areas who marry little girls against their will. There is a whole lot of statuary rape in those areas. A whole area of paedophiles which is not interfered with. They also have many wives. They are also wealthy because she and her husband let them go about their illegal activities. Mtwakadzi was right. Matebeleland would be far better off alone.

Its a well known fact that Shona gukurahundis will never leave the people of Mthwakazi alone. Its funny that this gukurahundi woman has been all over the country in Shona provinces, but not once did she say anything tribal.
But, once she is on Mthwakazi soil, thoughts of tribalism start swirling up in her mind. Even her gukurahundi husband is like that; Tswangirayi is like that and almost every Shona is like that – mara why?
When will these people leave us alone? What exactly do they want from the people of Matebeleland?
They had their gukurahundi revenge for the tribal wars of old; we thought they are now satisfied since they have had their pound of flesh. But alas; they still want more Ndebele blood even today; will they ever be satisfied? True VAMPIRES for sure!!
She was speaking Shona without an interpreter in a non-Shona speaking province; itself an imposition on the region, but still this is not enough. Not with out the insults. This is despite what the new constitution says. A constitution counts for nothing to these Shona gukurahundi tribalists.
There are two options left for Mthwakazi people going forward and this has to be taken seriously.
Either:
1. You put together plans/strategies on how to seek revenge through dealing with the easier targets Bona, Chatunga and Robert Jnr NOW, not tomorrow for maximum effect. This could take the form of abductions/or outright executions, (ISIS style in Iraq); in return for governance concessions/proper Devolution for Matebeleland provinces; or
2. Support the secessionist Paul Siwela and others and seek SADC and UN intervention to achieve this objective.
Its clear this torture of the innocent people of Matebeleland will never stop. This can not be allowed to continue.
You cannot have only one part of the country being treated differently from the rest of the country and for what reason?
Every Shona politician who comes to Matebeleland always talks tribalism, why?
Why is that they never say such things in Shona speaking provinces? Grace has been all over Shona regions, but not once did she say anything tribal.
Never ever did she say anything negative about the Manyika people; the Karanga people; etc.
They will insult each other for political reasons, but tribe is one thing they never touch, despite the fact they all speak different provincial dialects!!
So the Gumburas of this world are now also Ndebele. Tsvangirayi is a Ndebele – I can go on!!

What a silly statement from someone in her position. It goes to show what we can expect from Zanu pf. It is a known fact that most leaders in any political organization before making speeches make sure that someone reads them and clears them to be fit for the speech involved.It become clear that Grace Mugabe can say what she wants to say and insult a whole people. I have said it once and will say it again. There is nothing that does not end except God himself. As sure as the Sun will come out and as sure as it will set so will the rule of this evil regime end. These are dead men walking. They just do not know it. I am a Ndebele man with only one wife. I do not abuse neither have I ever raped anyone. I know not of anyone of my friends that do that either. What I do know is that there are criminals in every group of people no matter the tribe. For her to make such a statement she is either stupid or mad or both. I think it’s both. For someone with an adulteress history she should smell he own armpits first. Stupid Women with a fake degree. Her husband was having more than 1 woman when his wife was alive so she should shut her dirty mouth.
Well said Doc. Zimbabwe so needs a leader that will bring honesty, integrity, healing, forgiveness, a love and respect for our fellow man, hard work and honest gain etc. Where is that person? I am praying. Surely, God will never and cannot work with anything other than the truth.

I have said it before, that Zim’s tribalism is caused by the leadership. South Africa does not have a major problem over this issue because you will never hear any of its leaders make tribally divisive statements.
Its unfortunate that many ordinary Shonas mimmick these leaders, which makes it difficult for Zimbabweans to unite in total opposition to the ruling clique. That they are being used, they never seem to notice I never know why?
There is 98% employment of shonas in all government institutions.You have done nothing about that .All you have is the nerve to blame the Ndeleles for going down south not out of their choice but through desperation .you must be out of your mind you B….
I am Shona with Ndebele children who make me proud because they do not see tribalism. DisGrace does not speak for all Shonas who shun hatred and tribalism that has destroyed our country. I love my Ndebele brothers and sisters and all Zimbabweans. We are all created equal in the image of God.

4-I advise all the people of Matebeleland to remain focused and cool to shine cheap tribalism which is primitive and destructive.Watch a video on the incident in a Brisbane train involving a security guard of Zimbabwe origin being abused by a teenage of Arab origin.He remained cool and he has earned himself world admiration of the highest order.Never allow yourself to stoop down to their naive and misguided mentality.We have wisdom and common sense on our side,therefore cheap provocation will not work.

Being a shona,I distance myself from these decisive utterances by this mad woman.I have stayed in SA for years moving within the Ndebele and Shona circles.Had a Ndebele business partner and friend. Tribe was never an issue.
The point I am coming to is, there are as many Shonas as there is Ndebeles in SA.This migration is all because of Mugabe’s failed policies.
