31 aspiring judges have failed an elementary pre-interview assessment written on Friday to test their ability to write judgments, a development that saw four candidates chickening out of the interviews following the announcement of the results on Monday.
Only 14 out of 45 Judges who were lined up for public interviews passed. Opening the public interviews on Monday, Chief Justice Godfrey Chidyausiku expressed disappointment at the poor performance of the candidates.
