ZANU PF’s former Mashonaland West provincial chairman Temba Mliswa, arrested last Saturday for theft of eight firearms – comprising of six rifles and two shotguns – from a white former commercial farmer, Walter Hall Myles, appeared at the Chinhoyio Magistrates’ Court yesterday on a theft charge.

He was remanded in custody to today for bail hearing.
Mliswa, who was represented by lawyer Musindo Dunhira Hungwe, is alleged to have stolen the firearms at the height of the land reform programme in 2002.
