What happened to innocent until proven guilty? Can a national Vice President be sacked on the basis of allegations delivered by the President’s wife in what she disgracefully called a tit-for-tat game of feminine rivalry?

Misheck Sibanda should have said these people are losing their jobs on hearsay and speculation and not incompetence.

Last time I checked incompetence is glorified in Zanu PF and can easily earn you a promotion.

Very fitting comments from all of you brothers and sisters. Wish Zanu could pay attention for once. And why are the culprits not brought before a judge. We certainly want them to pay back some of their loot to help revive the economy.

This is goingto be rough for Mugabe in Parliament – will he sack the reputed 100 MP’s reportedly sympathetic to Mujuru as well? Not that he wouldbe afraid of running by-elections – he and his coterie of crook knows how to crook elections by now.

Problem for him is that Majuru and a few others knows his tricks as well – so he may just refrain fromdoing that and end up in a worse situation than he is today.

It is a problem of all dictators – they end up looking for their own supporters who may become a threat to themselves. Once they have dealt with those threats – they cannot stop looking for others as well – so who next is to be expelled?

In the real world the CEO is responsible and accountable for all issues of an organisation. In ZANU it is not so, those who dare question the boss on any issue will be perceived as incompetent, inept, corrupt, sleeping on duty etc. One wonders if there are any competent persons in ZANU government and party. The state of the country, economy and the nation will testify to gross incompetency on the part of Mugabe who has presided over an inept government for 30 f***ng years.

The Bible has a narrative of a donkey that conversed with a man.Because he was so stubborn and hell bent on his mission he saw
nothing strange with his donkey answering him. Through the mouth of Robert Mugabe God has pronounced Zanu puff’s collapse twice, first through
Mugabe inadvertently revealing Tsvangirayi won 73% of the 2008 vote and secondly by saying ‘Pasi ne Zanu PF. These instances were not a simple slip of the tongue. This is the Divine hand at work, spelling out the end of Zanu puff is upon us.
What elections have failed to achieve in all the past instances is being achieved without the general public.

I agree – te od saying of those whom thegodswish to destroy, they drive mad is applicable in this case.

It is clear that the election results in 2008 was changed by the military so as to allow for a run-off. The loss by 73% is likely to have been the case – hence the delay in announcing the result of the presidential election.

One can only wonder how many votes ZANU-PF actually got in the last election. My impresion is that it was more or less the same – but massive fraud influenced the outcome – hewnce the coment that on local level it was not known how the election victory was achoeved.

Is th latter a problem that is now dealt with by Mugabe – namely to ensure that a threat from within – especially from those who know about the crooking of the last election – is eliminated?

I suspect that Mugabe wants to protect the loot he has stolen from the people of Zimbabe by appointing Grace Mugabe as his successor. What a disaster that would be for the people of Zimbabwe.

However as you said – it may be the last gasp of a tyrant that has ruined Zimbabwwe.

If Joyce wants a long and healthy life she should give up her aspirations for even more power and marry up with her assets abroad as soon as possible.

Mugabe has never fired any ministers for any reason. Mnangagwa was demoted to minister of Rural Amenities (pit latrines?) after the Diyane plot. Mugabe likes to keep them close by and humiliate them.
The firing of the VP and 7 cabinet ministers is very clearly the work of Amai Doctor Grace Mugabe — its her ‘way’.
The transition of power has already happened !!

Latest news is that more ministers and deputy ministers will be fired – who will be next on the chopping block.

One can expect a string of unfortunate vehicle accidents soon – the Mugabe cronies knows how to create accidets and fires to kill threats to themselves.

Best advice for fired Ministers and deputies is – get out of Zimbabwe fast. You have fleeced the country and should have enough assets outside of Zimbabwe to live in luxury in future. Otherwise a place in the morgue is waiting for you.

A serious question – Mujuru and her fired sidekicks musthave some serious supporters – on lower level – how will those impacton the future of Zimbabwe politics. I gather – not much – because elections in Zimbabwe are meaningless. Remember Stalin’s comments – elections are important – but what is even more important is the counting ofthe votes. And Mugabe and his cronies has developed that to a fine art.
