THE 21st February Movement celebrations to mark President Mugabe’s 91st birthday will be held in Victoria Falls. In a statement yesterday, the Zanu-PF Youth League said the date, theme and the exact venue in Victoria Falls would be advised in due course.
“The 29th anniversary of the movement celebrations will be held in the resort town of Victoria Falls in February 2015 at a venue, date and the theme to be advised,” reads part of the statement.
The decision to hold the celebrations in Victoria Falls was reached after a Youth League executive meeting held yesterday at the party national headquarters.
The committee would be co-ordinated by Zanu-PF Secretary for Youth Affairs Cde Pupurai Togarepi and Dickson Dzora, while the Secretary for Finance Cde Tongai Kasukuwere is to deal with finance.
