The provisions to be followed in the event of the death, retirement or incapacity of the President are presently governed by transitional provisions, (effective until August 2023) set out in paragraph 14 of the Sixth Schedule of Zimbabwe’s Constitution.2 They are to be read with section 26(2) of the ZANU PF Party Constitution.
