Joseph Chinotimba, the Buhera south legislator, has threatened to seize residential stands from MDC-T supporters in Masvingo’s Runyararo west suburb, accusing them of selling out by not supporting Zanu PF.
Chinotimba, a self-styled leader of farm invasions in 2000, stunned delegates at a function in Masvingo last week when he threatened to grab all stands that had been allocated to MDC-T supporters.
He made a suprise visit at Vashandi Housing Co-operative offices in Runyararo west,where there was a function to commission an Ecological Sanitation toilet for the unserviced stands in the area.
“I have the power to order the district administrator to shut down all this place if you continue voting for the MDC”, he said.
“I have also the power to take all stands that were allocated to MDC-T supporters and re allocate them to people who are politically correct”, he added.
“I am being tempted to take all these steps because you betrayed my father president Robert Mugabe. I want all MDC-T leaders and councillors to know this because I am comrade Chonos”, said Chinotimba attracting cheers from Zanu PF supporters who were present.
Vashandi Housing Co-operative, which is responsible for housing development in the area, is headed by Zanu PF’s Chivi central legislator Levison Gwanongodza.
The MDC-T dominated Masvingo city council has threatened to demolish some of the houses in the area arguing that they were hapahardly built.
The MDC-T has six councillors in Masvingo city while Zanu PF has four.

He should concentrate in his constituency and stopping these Chinese who have destroyed the countryside.Civilised politics allows for different views and opinions.The problem is the masses who get carried away with cheap politics.We are over that age now we should have mps who want to build the country not to destroy it.We are all Zimbabweans whether you belong to Donkey or Cow or Mpisi Party,these problems face us all.
He is nothing but a criminal and gangster who can break the law with impunity because there is no law in Zimbabwe.

And so you see why Zimbabwe will never be great. With this quality of MP/legislator who needs enemies. ZPF just doesn’t get it does it? Everything is destroy! Destroy! destroy! I thought Uncle bob said that the MDC is dead and buried. And so why the panic! OH, God we are crying out for Your mercy in Zimbabwe. Surely it is time for you to act oh Lord for they have regarded Your laws as void.
