If the Government of Zimbabwe is allowed to carry on with its infamous Murambatsvina 2 in Chitungwiza and other parts of the country, thousands of families will be left homeless in this rainy season.
It is inhuman for the Govt to demolish people’s houses without a concrete clear alternative plan. Why now after elections??
The effects of the 1st Murambatsvina is still fresh in peoples mind. Thousands of the 2005 victims never managed to secure descent accommodation to date. HZT yesterday visited some of the targeted areas in Chitungwiza and met up with the affected families. Below are some of the houses targeted for demolition in New Zengeza 4, Unit O, P, J, N, M and A extension, Seke rural and Manyame Park.

ZANU-PF’s ‘Boxer in Chief’ Mugarbage, versus The People, Round Two!
For any corruption to prosper there is always a free giver and a free taker. The giver encourages the taker to receive more and more from him. Most of our people have taken corruption as a normal way of daily life, when it is absolutely wrong. They are now reaping what they sow.The people who are affected by these demolitions should be courageous enough and demand their monies from those corrupt officials if they are not involved in the dirty game. You have to stand firm against these unscrupulous people within our society. These uncontrolled structures have made some of our residential areas look like pig stiles. We have to maintain some form of standard to avoid outbreaks of deceases.
When are we going to say “ENOUGH IS ENOUGH”
Please will Joel Biggie Matiza arrange for the demolition of the illegal chinese structures in Belvedere and Borrowdale
